ClinicalTrials.gov
UCR administers Uppsala University’s ClinicalTrials.gov account. This means that we can view all studies registered under the account and create login credentials for researchers who need to register studies.
All clinical trials and observational studies for which Region Uppsala (RU) or Uppsala University (UU) is the sponsor must be registered on ClinicalTrials.gov. Since the WHO has approved CTIS as a registry, clinical trials no longer need to be registered on ClinicalTrials.gov in addition to CTIS. However, clinical studies that are not registered in CTIS still need to be registered, and many researchers choose to register their clinical trials on ClinicalTrials.gov as well.
Until EUDAMED becomes fully operational, medical device studies must also be registered on ClinicalTrials.gov in accordance with current legal requirements.
